Meet Our Clinical Lead
Mr. Stephen Liggins
MB BCh, BDS, BSc(Hons), FDSRCS, FRCS (Gen Surg), FRCS (OMFS)
Clinical Lead & Consultant Surgeon
With over 35 years of clinical leadership, Mr. Liggins brings a level of surgical precision to Urban Wellness that is rarely found in high-street clinics.
His career began in the Royal Navy in 1984, where he rose to the rank of Surgeon Commander. Following his military service, he served as a Senior Consultant Surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital University of Birmingham. A dual-qualified surgeon in both Medicine and Dentistry, Mr. Liggins is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and an active surgical trainer for the next generation of specialists.
Beyond the operating theatre, Mr. Liggins has spent over two decades at the forefront of private facial plastic surgery and hair restoration. His entrepreneurial spirit and deep medical knowledge allow Urban Wellness to offer cutting-edge treatments—from TRT and medical weight management to complex maxillofacial diagnostics—all delivered with a consultant’s oversight.

Dr Alan Kefrosh
BDS (KCL), BSc (Hons), PG Cert Implant Dentistry (ICE)
Dental Lead & Oral Surgeon
Dr Alan Kefrosh is a compassionate and meticulous clinician with a strong interest in oral surgery and restorative dentistry. He graduated from King’s College London with dual degrees in Dentistry and Healthcare Management, and has since gained broad clinical experience across both NHS and private sectors.
Alan has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Implant Dentistry under Professor Cemal Ucer at the ICE Postgraduate Institute. He is currently studying a master’s degree in Implant Dentistry at UCL, one of the UK’s leading research institutions, where he will deepen his skills in planning, placing, and restoring dental implants.
His background includes oral surgery training as a Senior House Officer in OMFS, as well as extensive aesthetic and prosthodontic work, including full-mouth rehabilitation and composite bonding. He is passionate about delivering patient-focused care with technical precision, and is committed to continual professional development.
Alan’s long-term ambition is to offer comprehensive treatments and serve as a trusted referral point within the dental community.

What counts as a dental emergency?
Severe pain, swelling, a knocked-out tooth, or a lost crown/filling are all emergencies. Our 24/7 line ensures you are triaged immediately by a professional.
Am I a candidate for Invisalign?
Most patients are! We use 3D digital scanning to assess your alignment and can show you a “virtual result” before you even start treatment.
What is an OPG scan and why do I need it?
An OPG is a panoramic X-ray that gives us a full view of your jaw, teeth, and joints. It’s essential for safe wisdom tooth removal and implant planning.
Are dental implants painful?
We use advanced local anesthesia and precise surgical techniques. Most patients report only minor discomfort, similar to a standard filling, during the healing phase.
How is Airflow hygiene different from a 'Scale and Polish'?
Airflow uses a pressurized stream of water and fine powder to remove deep stains and biofilm painlessly—it’s much gentler and more effective than traditional scraping.
Do I need to Pre-Book appointments or is there a walk-in service?
